IT has been a long time..... UPDATE!

Thankfully, to start with, Elsie's dew claw surgery was fully affective and she has recovered just fine! After we took of the bandages, she was even better and her incisions healed very fast. Elsie is getting very responsive, big and as ever, still hyper! I enjoy playing fetch and tag with her... Though I am not sure tag has very good stimulations.... as it encourages nipping and barking.... We have stopped running her a mile or two because we do not want the bones messed up......

We learned, two Sundays ago, that my puppy has a voice that can be heard a whole level lower in a house, in a room far tucked back. She spent meeting in the sunroom, far from the living room. This week, she spent it in the Green House..... She still needs to stop barking in the kennel. She behaves like an angel at night, but kenneling in the daytime is not very pleasant for her. We need to practice.

Addressing biting...... Elsie loves to bite my little brother... So that needs work. She is normally good to the rest of the family and me.

She is doing well learning her commands and becoming a great dog! She has learned to bark at strangers -- I am not sure if that is a necessary for a dog to learn or if it is natural.

As far as tricks go, Elsie can now ask to be let out by simply ringing the bell on our backdoor. She loves to ring it and ask out!
