The Border Collie: An Owner's Guide to a Happy Healthy Pet. My parents also own the German Shepherd version to this. Good book for overall look at a Border Collie - has training tips in the back.

101 Essential Tips Training Your Dog. Published by DK. Good over all tips. Not a very big book though, and does not go into huge details.
